Austal, Shoumitro worked in Investment Banking at Banc of America Securities in San Francisco. He spent his time there in their Technology Group in Corporate Finance sharing his time between the Software, Semiconductor, Communication Equipment and EMS sectors. Sreedhar has over 11 years of finance related experience working on both the buy and sell side. At AustalGroup he heads the Analytics department where he is responsible for delivery and client relations. He also is closely involved in fund raising for early stage companies.
Previously, Sreedhar worked as a portfolio manager for the Saud Bahwan Group’s private portfolio, a large family fund in Oman. While there he managed investments primarily in US equities. Prior to that he spent seven years at Doric Capital, (a long/short equity hedge fund) identifying investments in a number of sectors including industrials, banks, retail and transportation. Prior to Citigroup, Mr. Rashid was an emerging markets focused Portfolio Manager in Logan Rockefeller and a M&A Associate in Lazard Freres advising clients in the Communications and Media sectors.
